Indigo Credit Card

06/03/2023 - 2 min of reading

The latest update to the Indigo Credit Card removes the previously featured card's unique bonus category rewards and instead adds a more typical (and potentially more lucrative) set of widely used travel reward bonus categories.

Positive points Negative points
No foreign transaction fees No low introductory APR period
High reward potential Annual Rate

The card earns 10 points per dollar on qualifying hotels and car rentals booked through, 5 points per dollar on qualifying travel, dining and fuel and 1 point per dollar on all other purchases. The card also offers a welcome bonus of 10,000 bonus points after spending $1,000 on qualifying purchases in the first 90 days, which can be redeemed for a $100 credit, gift cards or travel.

One big advantage of this card is its advertised minimum credit rating of “average”. Many cards that offer excellent reward rates limit offers to those with good or better credit; therefore, for many, it is worth paying the $95 annual fee to unlock early access to better rewards on the journey to build or rebuild better credit.

Redeeming Rewards

Redemption for statement credit must be made in increments of 1,000 points. When redeemed for cash back in the form of a statement credit, points are worth $0.01 each, which means that a redemption of 1,000 points is worth a statement credit of $10.
